She is hilarious. She is so dang smart I can't even handle it. Here is what we have been up to:
She got a "Princess Bed". I had planned on transitioning her to her queen bed before baby came- but things got a little messy when we suddenly rented our house out- and our building plans fell through (long story). Luckily the Facer place had some extra space for us. Eliza's "room" is now the library. After sleeping on her mattress on the floor for a couple weeks my mom threatened to kick me out if I didn't just buy her a dang toddler bed. I found this and couldn't resist...she is in heaven with this thing. And lucky us- she stays in it until we come get her in the morning.
Decorating cupcakes at 25 Main. She was convinced it was her Birthday no matter how many times I told her it wasn't.
Swimming with Kendall. We are a little excited for warmer weather.
Our little ballerina. She LOVES wearing her ballet clothes and dancing all around the house. But she is not loving dance class. The first couple weeks she went right in but didn't want to participate. She would stand in the corner and just watch. Then she started dressing up with her class- but would still stand in the corner and watch. Now she won't even go in without me. It's not frustrating at all....
The tea party at the end she has no problem with though.
Her hair is getting curlier and curlier.
And I love it.
There have only been a few times where she has fallen asleep somewhere other than her bed or her car seat. Mema's couch is way comfy I guess...
Some of the things she says:
While watching a movie- "I'm getting tired again. We better get up and do something and go somewhere."
"I have to go potty." Again? "Ya- it's been a hard day."
I said- I'm going downstairs to do some laundry ok? Pointing at me she says "Ok just beee carefo mommy. Be carefo wif all those clothes."
"Don't hop in the shower mommy- just walk in the shower."
She is so excited for her little sister to get her. She is constantly rubbing my belly and saying "Mom- your baby is so cute!" "I'm going to kiss my little sister." I get lots of hugs and kisses and rubs on my belly. "My little sister loves when I rub and tickle her." "My little sister is going to chase me." "When my little sister gets her she will eat her breakfast with a little baby spoon." She is just constantly talking about her. Let's hope she loves her when she really does get here!
One of my favorites- My sister-in-law's name is Mykelle. Pronounced My-Kell. When Eliza is talking to me about her she calls her YOU-kelle. And if she's talking to anybody else about Mykelle she calls her "My mommy's Kelle." It's hilarious and I love it. I hope she never figures it out.
She melts my heart daily.
