10. I'm almost 8 months- I thought it would never come

My sister-in-law Mykelle did an amazing job on my shower. She is so creative and does everything perfect. The decorations were beautiful. She had some really fun ideas! Everybody got a onesie and chose a cute vintage picture to iron onto it. I think I ended up with about 20- which will be very helpful! Everybody wrote a "wish" for the baby and shared it with me when they gave me my gift. The whole theme was "Daughter of a King"- which I thought was so cute and creative. I think I love my last name- Everything was crowns and princesses and jewels. We can't wait for our little Princess to arrive!

1 Year Later...

And 7 months prego.

I have to take a second and tell everybody how amazing my Hubby is.
On 06.07.08 I married the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Craig is so Thoughtful, positive, funny, hard working, Hot, creative, calm, talented, and just Amazing. I am thankful every day for him.
I don't know how I got so Lucky.

So we just had our First Anniversary, and I have to say.... He did Amazing!
Since it fell on a Sunday, we decided to celebrate on Saturday. I had no idea what we were going to do- I just though maybe a nice dinner and a movie??? Well Saturday we woke up and Craig says "What should we do today?"... after a few suggestions he says "Want to go to Vegas and go shopping or something?" We haven't been to Vegas in forever- so I thought it would be fun! (Plus... I immediately thought... Cheesecake Factory!) So he made waffles while I got ready- and we were on our way! As we're driving down the strip he says
"Is that Planet Hollywood???" I said yes- and he says "Babe- would you be mad if I told you we were staying there tonight?" What??? I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out so I don't get surprised much- but I had no idea that he had this type of capability! I have never been so surprised- and I want to remember it forever (that's why I'm writing it here). Craig had booked a hotel, got tickets to Mystere', and even packed a bag for me! And I didn't have a clue. Needless to say- it was an amazing Anniversary. We shopped (a lot). I got my Cheesecake Factory. We stayed in a super nice hotel. We saw an amazing show. And I did it all with my Best Friend.
Thank you babe- I love you!!!!

31 Weeks
We took the boys (our dogs) to Sand Hallow to go fishing. We could not keep Bogey out of the water- he loved it! We actually had to go rescue him because i think he would have just kept going and going. Boozer loved it too- but he didn't really understand what was going on.

So I'm 31 weeks and feeling great! I'm getting bigger and bigger every day- but it hasn't gotten to0 bad yet. We keep hearing "Oh just wait!"... we're still waiting. I'm sure I'll be miserable at some point- but right now things are really good!

Lake Powell Trip

The Spot we got was amazing. It was the same place we camped last year... but we didn't think it would be available on such a busy weekend. We drove straight to Gunsight and what do you know- our hidden little cove was waiting for us. This was such a private beach and so perfect for the eight of us. Hopefully it's waiting for us next year too!

The first night we were there it Poured on us all night. Craig and I didn't get any sleep because we were so worried about all the food and everything getting soaked. I have never been in a storm like that before. It was quite an adventure and made for good memories! We actually survived with not too much damage. It did Rain on us every night/day after that- but in between the rain and Thunder storms we had some awesome Sun and amazing times.
The boys (Matt, Craig, Jake, Chase, and Rory) had fun being boys. Fishing all day every day. Seeing how far they could hit Golf balls off the beach. Gathering wood. Fitting as many bodies on one Tube as humanly possible. Starting Fires. Betting on Horseshoes. And we can't forget the Mustache madness. (I guess I can give him one week a year that he can look like he belongs on Super Troopers... or worse!)
The
Girls (Season, Me... and baby girl, and Brittany... and baby ?) had fun being entertained by the boys and their boyish activities. But we did do our share of Fishing. We organized the Camp kitchen- and made sure our men got their share of Food. Season did get to go Tubing which made us pregos pretty jealous... but it was still fun to watch!

This is our Boat packed full of bodies and Stuff. I don't know how we made it. Thanks to Craig and his packing Skills we made it in just one trip!
The Fish were definitely biting. Us girls held our own with the fish quota- but the boys caught the winning fish. Rory caught a huge Striper that put all our other fish to shame.

Honey I definitely got the biggest catch this day. It was a big upset when the only girl on the boat who "doesn't even know what she's doing" caught every fish that night. The boys didn't even catch one. But I have to say... Craig was pretty dang proud of his wifey!
