{Weekend at Grandma's}
Riley and his family came down to spend the weekend in sunny St. George.
While they were here we got to spend lots of time by the pool, and of course eating grandma's yummy food!

Practicing our walking

{Bogey, Boozer, and Crystal}
It's no secret- the Facers have turned into dog people
and Eliza is no exception to that.
Every time we visit- she immediately starts grunting and groaning to get to those dogs!
Last Sunday Mandi and Brynlie brought Crystal, their little chihuahua- just to add to the fun!

{Mommy's Little Helper}

When I do laundry, Eliza always wants to help pull the laundry out of the basket.
Of course she went straight for her blanky... she knows what's good for her...

{Heartbreak by Daddy}

Sour belts are amazing.
They are by far my favorite candy- and they are hard to find!
Craig had never tried them so the other night I handed him one to try.
He doesn't do sour- especially when he doesn't know it's sour.
I didn't get video of the first time- which was seriously.... so freakin hilarious.
But the second reaction wasn't too bad... although he broke his baby's little heart!

Just because she's amazing

{Changes}

Eliza is changing so much every day, I couldn't resist posting...

She squeaks/squeals/yells (loudly) all day long.

I think she just likes the sound of her own voice.
We think it's adorable.
I'm sure our neighbors think something else...

She Spins.

She loves to sit on the tile floor and spin around and around.
She thinks she's so funny. And... she is.

Goes from crawling to sitting.
She's figure out how to get back on her bum after crawling around. So, she crawls, then sits. Crawls, then sits. My favorite is when she says "MOM! I WAKE UP!" (in her own way) and I walk in to get her and she's just sitting on her little bum- staring at the door. It's the cutest.

She does this on just about everything now...which leads to many "bonks" and screams.

She drags her blanket with her as she crawls.
Is she going to be like her mom with this? I'm sure many are saying... let's hope not. (yes... I admit it...I still have a blanky.) Like it's a bad thing? She doesn't have a specific one. But if there's one around, it's being dragged around with her. She stops to bury her face in it for a second- then gets going again. I love watching her make these little "pit stops" along her way!

She wants to crawl around the bath.
Which is not cool. Call me paranoid- I am.

She loves waving.
Bye-bye. Hi. Or any time she wants to really...

She had her first cough.
I tried not to stress- but it was hard not to worry about her. We gave her vitamins (more faithfully), vaporized at night, rubbed vicks on her feet every night, and did plenty of snot sucking. Side note: My sister-in-law Kelly showed me the coolest snot sucker. I got on Amazon and ordered my own immediately. It's on its way...more on that later.

This is one of those new things... kneeling. How cute is this?

She feeds herself.
She can pick up the tiniest pieces of food and put them right into her mouth. She is quite intricate. Her little pointer and thumb zero in on the little pieces and she gets every one!

She wants to walk.
When I go to set her down she puts her feet down, arches her back, and won't sit. She likes to be walked around. She gets the biggest grin and I can just hear her saying "I'm so big girl!"
Thank you for the pink Rally Monkey Papa.
We are so excited to see some Angels games!
(She's a fan already)

01.05.10 ~ 01.10.10

Craig's sister Kelly and her kids were in town for a week.
It was such a fun visit.

Shopping.Crafts.Lunch.
Decorating
.Baking.Tai Pan.
Swimming
.Dinners.Family.

Even though Kelly was on "Vacation" she was nice enough to spend lots of time helping me with many projects!

First- she showed me a great bread recipe! We made Pizza, Bread, Rolls, and Cinnamon rolls, all in less than an hour! It was so much fun- and I can't wait to do it again.

Craig went Turkey hunting with his brothers all weekend. So I had this idea to "do" our bedroom and surprise him when he got home. So after many trips to Tai Pan, Roberts, & Walmart- I finally got inspired and we got started.

We picked up some unfinished wood shelves from Roberts- and made it our "crafty" project. (I didn't want to spend the $ money to buy finished ones.) So... we didn't take any before pictures (so dumb) But I took some "Half-way" pictures??

I guess I suck at before pictures- because I didn't take any of my bedroom either. Picture this: A bed, with blank walls. Why did it take me so long to decorate my room you ask? I couldn't tell you. We've been living here for almost 2 years now. We've redone the entire townhome. New kitchen, new bathrooms, new carpet, new paint (all before we got married) I love it! But our room I have been putting off. So.... here it is now- finally (almost) done!

My favorite part of the whole room:
These shelves.
Didn't they turn out amazing?
I had no idea I was capable of such crafty things... thanks Kelly.

And while I'm on a roll...
I've had some nursery requests from forever ago-
and I've never got around to just taking some pictures and posting them.
So here is Eliza's room.
My favorite room in the house...

{04.06.10}
We went to the rec center and went swimming with the cousins

Later that day Lou and baby Ty came over to play with us!
She wasn't quite sure at first...

He was lovin her though...
(He is the happiest, smiliest little dude ever. He's got some killer teeth and hair that will make any hairless girl jealous. This kid is seriously one handsome heartbreaker)

Finally warming up to him...
And then... he started playing with her toys.
She was not having it...

Um.... I don't think so!
Every time I'd give it back to Ty- she'd just grab it right back from him.
The little stinker... already breaking boys hearts.

Lou- we've got to do it again soon.
My little girl needs to learn how to share!

{Easter Weekend}
04.03.10

Saturday morning we went to The Arts Festival at the park.

Eliza was very entertained by all the people and dogs.

And of course all the water and fountains...

She is so in love with dogs!
(Just like her Mommy I guess)

{Easter Morning}
04.04.10

We spent Saturday night at my parent's house for a "mini vacation".
(My parents were in Laguna)
Saturday night we put Eliza to bed, then went hot tubing and watched a movie.
Sunday morning Craig surprised me with a bunch of Easter candy, and Eliza with a huge stuffed lambie. She loved it

After the first session of Conference we took Eliza out for
an Easter Egg Hunt.

She hates grass with a passion...

We laid by the pool and watched conference all afternoon.
It was such a relaxing & fun weekend- I didn't want it to end!

{Missy and Moo Moo}

She loves these two.
Every time she sees them she gets a huge grin.
She loves to bury her face into the softness.
She does it every morning!

{Teeth}
Showing off her two tiny teeth...
