I can't believe I get to have another GIRL!!!

I'm pretty sure everybody already knows this- but we are having another baby- and it's a GIRL!  I still can't get over it.  I'm so glad my Eliza gets a sister- sisters are the best!  I am almost 18 weeks now and feeling pretty good.  This pregnancy has been quite a roller coaster ride for Craig and I (and anybody that's close to us!).  More than once we thought it wasn't going to work out- but with ultrasounds and check ups and medication- things are looking good.  We feel so blessed.  Is it too early to long to hold her and squeeze her and kiss her and just know that she's going to be ok?  I'm not even half way yet.  This is taking forever.  Also- this pregnancy has been completely opposite of my first.  I didn't feel one symptoms with Eliza.  With this on I was really sick, irritable, emotional, and just pretty miserable.  Poor Craig didn't get a home cooked meal for months.  And he got to do the dishes and anything else that might have a slight smell. I'll forever be grateful for his warnings of any type of smell.  And for my baby girl "Mom are you pukin again?  I will help you.  I will make you feel better." Oh- she is my Angel.  Can't wait to have another.

Hopefully after this post I will be all caught up. These are really random photos but we don't want to forget our November! Dressing up is an every day thing at our house. These photos are of "the pink princess super Eliza royal crown". And you can tell she wasn't feeling well- but still had to be a princess for the day.

Eliza slept through Thanksgiving dinner at my parent's house. When she woke up we were all eating pie so guess what she ate for dinner?? The only picture I took the entire day.

Eliza has sucked her thumb since forever. She only did it when she had her blanky out of her bed- which was beginning to be a habit. One day I told her that if she wanted to get her blanky out of her bed I was going to have to put the yucky stuff on her thumbs. She finally agreed. The next morning I caught her sucking her pointer finger. We got a good laugh out of her problem solving skills. That was the last time I witness any sucking. I've never had to put stuff on her fingers again. She stopped over night. She's an angel.

One last picture to explain- the naked bum. She had been clogged up for a couple days which has never happened before. I gave her mirilax Friday night and forgot about it. The next day we went the mall. When she looked up at me with a panicked look and said "I need to go potty" I knew it was an emergency. We started running to the bathroom and Craig grabbed her and took her in with him. 15 minutes later Craig came walking out- her pants in hand a bare bum and said "time to go". Apparently she disnt quite make it. I laughed so hard at her bare bum and shoes I almost couldn't walk. Probably because I was embarrassed carrying a naked little girl through the mall and to the car. The classic line that came for Eliza when we were walking through the parking lot was "my bummy is coooold!!!". Aaaahhh we love her.

Grandma Facer

The day before Thanksgiving my mom and I went to see my Grandma Facer.

She is the cutest- but has no idea what is going on anymore.  She hasn't recognized me in years.  She doesn't talk anymore so it's pretty hard for me to go see her like that. My mom said "Grandma- do you remember who this is? This is Britta."  Usually we get nothing- but she looked up at me and got the biggest (toothless) smile on her face and completely lit up.  I cried.  She finally recognized who I was.  It was amazing.

Pre- Thanksgiving

A couple days after california we headed up to Craig's sister's house to play with cousins and get some snow time in. The highlight of the trip was the evening of sledding- more like 30 minutes. But Eliza is still talking about it. I also put off family pictures AGAIN so last minute Kelly took our pictures in her yard so I at least had something to put on some Christmas cards. She's amazing like that. Always helping her slacky sister in law. I honestly don't know what we would do without her. She is always somehow saving us from something. We LOVE her! Thanks for the fun weekend!

Time to catch up. Eliza and I crashed my parents nice peaceful vacation to the beach house by going with them. My mom couldn't resist Eliza's "I want to go play on the beach with Memaw" comments. So we packed our bags and headed down on a Wednesday to stay for an entire week. The weather was in the 70's and clear and perfect! We played on the beach, shopped until we dropped, watched sunsets, ate at all our favorite places, took the dogs on walks, played in the park, relaxed on the deck, and relaxed some more. We were completely spoiled and it was just what I needed! I came home feeling completely refreshed and cured of my nausea. It was a miracle (or I finally hit the 13 week mark). Thank you Mom and Dad!

My Deer Hunt

So I had a spike tag (elk) and a deer tag this year. Craig and I took the trailer up to Indian peaks for the spike hunt. It was freezing and we totally got skunked. We didn't even see one thing. Hunting is NO FUN when you see NOTHING. When the deer hunt came around I was kind of over it. I told Craig we weren't taking Eliza and I wasn't going to pack the trailer up and go anywhere- so basically we were sticking around St George. I also told Craig I wasn't going to hike. (wow I sound like a serious Debbie downer)
Opening morning came and we headed out. After we passed 500 hunters and saw orange on every single peak- I was wondering why we even came. Wow- I can't believe he actually still took my grumpy rump. We got of the fourwheeler and he said we were just going to walk to the top of that little ridge. I said fine and we started walking. We walked for a total of 3 minutes when he says "get your gun ready" Which means he sees something. He says "the last two in the group are bucks. Shoot one." They are always so dang far away i can never tell what they are! But we have a deal- when craig says shoot- i shoot. So one turned and I shot it. I'm not going to tell you how it wasn't a kill shot (got him in the leg) and we had to track it forever! I was getting really frustrated until it finally popped up out of the bushes again and I finally got a shot that wasn't 300 yards away! Obviously i ended up having a blast. I love that Craig is so good at making sure I have a good time and love the things he loves! I can't believe I actually enjoy hunting and camping and all the things I have never done before. Thanks babe for being so good to me and knowing how to make me happy!!

Catching up quickly...

We have had a lot going on just like everybody else. It's hard to keep track of everything and also have the time to post about it. Here is my lame attempt to catch up. The pictures are way out of order but I'm sure you understand...

We have been playing with the leggs a lot. We try to keep the girls entertained by doing crafts- but it's mostly just a referee game. Notice the picture of both girls on time out- that is how we roll.

She had to try on kendall's Halloween costume. After Adam actually got it on her she was about in tears. We were just dying laughing seeing her in that wig.

We spent a week in beaver camping for the elk hunt. Eliza had a blast with cousins and catching lizards and horny toads.

We went up to Parowan with Mandi and Brynlie to visit Brynlie's Daddy's grave. We had a picnic up the canyon and saw the leaves. It was so fun.
